Laurel Cottage is beautiful, practical, and homey in layout and decor. How can you go wrong with three full bathrooms, four private bedrooms and a welcoming, comfortable great room surrounded by nature, and close to town too? Everyone in our party was happy. Thank you for making an extended wedding weekend all the more charming.

Such a private peaceful get-a-way! Spent evenings on the deck enjoying the fire pit. Nice surprise was plenty of firewood stacked underneath the house. Beds were comfy, decor and appliances nice and updated. Would stay there again for sure!

Awesome little, super cozy cabin.. just a quick drive to downtown Highlands. Very clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. As other reviewers mentioned, the driveway is a little steep and there is a spiral staircase that may not suit everyone; we had no issues with either though. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We loved it!

Felt like home. Thank you so much for letting us stay at this lovely cabin for Christmas. It was so cozy and comfortable. The decor felt like you were living in a magazine, it was so unique and eclectic, and warm. The layout was perfect for our family of 8. We had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms spacious and the deck was beautiful. Thank you for opening your home to us.

We have visited Highlands several times and this property was a favorite. Beautiful home nestled in a very peaceful wooded lot. We will be back.

Great location and setup. The driveway was a bit steep and hard to traverse at times. The fireplace was amazing and the beds were very comfortable!Loved the text messaging which made for ease of communication

Great Unique House. The fireplace was great. It is located close to everything you need. Really enjoyed the stay. The rental company was responsive and helpful.

Beautiful home, great location. Our group of four adults and three children (ages 9 - 13) stayed at this beautiful home over a long weekend in October. This house is exactly as pictured. The decor is absolutely charming and the round fireplace was a focal point of our stay. A washer and dryer is accessible through the basement - perfect for a quick scrub of muddy clothing after a long day of hiking. The kitchen has most of what you need for food preparation, and we made several meals at "home" that were heartily enjoyed at the spectacular kitchen table. Bathrooms were nicely remodeled and beds were extremely comfortable. Everyone (even the kids!) commented on the wonderful linens. Close proximity to town was another plus. We would recommend this property and intend to stay again!
