We arrived at 10 PM but they had left the lights on and had a nice fall jazz station playing. What a great welcome! Cabin is beautifully decorated and had everything we could’ve needed and more. Absolutely loved the back porch with the fireplace! We had the best time and I would definitely rent here again.

It exceeded my expectations! This sweet cabin was well appointed with every essentials you would need for a wonderful stay. We spent most of our time in the charming screened patio reading and enjoying the cozy fireplace. The location was perfect a quick 10 mins to downtown Highlands!

No issues! Great place and great place to stay! Beautiful, well-designed place that is super comfy and feels like home. It's an easy place that is close to Highlands and Cashiers and tons of nature hikes and waterfalls!

We absolutely loved staying here! The neighborhood is gorgeous, and the house is just as beautiful. Everything is so well thought out and decorated—it really feels like a home away from home. The linens, beds, and decor are super high-end, and it’s so cozy. The kitchen is fully stocked, which made everything super easy, and the porch was such a great spot to relax. It was the perfect getaway for my best friend and me! The only thing I’d suggest is adding some lights outside to brighten up the parking area and front entrance at night - it is very dark when you’re coming in. Other than that, everything was perfect. Can’t wait to come back!

We loved the thoughtful design layout of the cabin and the convenience to cashiers or Highlands. The well equipped kitchen is perfect for making in-house meals and the screened porch is perfect for relaxing next to the fireplace. We can’t wait for our next trip!!

The house is full stocked, great layout and beautifully furnished. From the high end mattresses to the linens, a comfort plus stay. An easy 10 minutes to downtown Highlands. My girlfriends and I celebrated turning 40 this year. The screened in porch with the gas fireplace was the perfect place to hangout.

This little cabin was a delightful getaway from the hot and humid Florida summer. The well appointed cabin felt cozy and chic. We were pleasantly delighted by the modern kitchen and mountain themed den. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very well decorated and so comfortable! The heart of the home was the relaxing and peaceful screened room with its rugged timber framework and warm stacked stone gas fireplace! We hope to return as soon as possible!!!!

Secluded, beautiful home in the mountains. All the comforts of home and a rustic, but perfectly furnished home. I will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Staghorn (and even tried to stay another night but it was booked). The location is perfect right between Highlands and Cashiers. The accommodations could not have been more perfect. Extremely comfortable beds, everything you need for a getaway so that you can enjoy the area and cook a family meal at home. We were so happy there was a pack-n-play (bring your own sheets) for our 19 month old. We also brought a small baby gate for the stairs. The back porch was magical as we relaxed from the day. This will be a regular place for us!

We loved everything about this home. Our third time to Highlands and our favorite stay so far. I kept forgetting I was at a rental, because it was over the top comfortable, clean and instantly felt like home. We loved the beautiful antiques, plush bedding, oriental rugs and little accents that made it feel quintessentially Highlands. The outdoor fireplace is easy to use and fun to relax by, the kitchen is well stocked and easy to use as well. Beds are so comfortable and the house is very quiet. A short drive to Highlands or Cashiers and we enjoyed spending time in both! We will be back to this lovely home!
