Callie's Cabin on the Creek is the perfect location for either your extended summer vacation or weekend getaway.
The main level includes an open living space with new appliances and granite countertops. Living Room has a smart TV for streaming convenience and an electric faux fireplace with heating element. Also located on the main level is the master bedroom with a King bed and bath. The upper level includes 2 guest bedrooms-one with 3 Twins and the other with a Queen-sized bed.
The wrap around porch allows beautiful views of Big Creek and room for relaxation. Laundry is accessed though interior steps to the basement garage.
There's also a firepit, canoe, and hammock for your enjoyment.
Located only minutes from wonderful restaurants, shopping, theater and live music.

The cabin was comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. The location is convenient to the main highway and very close to On the Verandah restaurant. It was was about a 5-10 minute drive to main st. shopping area. The layout of the master bed/ bath downstairs is odd because you have to go through the very small bathroom to get in or out of the bedroom. Once we got used to that, it was the perfect cabin for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Callie’s for my 50th birthday celebration! The home is conveniently located close to Highlands’ downtown area and local waterfalls. We enjoyed the porches, fire pit and lovely scenery in which to sip wine or coffee! The property manager kept in constant contact and even turned all the lamps and television on in anticipation of our arrival. We would definitely return and stay with them again.

Great property for 5 adults. Close to town. Easy access in/out property. Plenty of parking. Quiet off season cabin. Wrap around porch is fantastic! House # or Callie’s Cabin sign would be helpful at bottom of Azalea Drive to easily identify property. Fire pit was ideal - bring your own wood, lighter. Lots of natural kindling around the grounds. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and linens.

Highlands Vacation Rentals will be my first search from now on when looking for a vacation rental. Our rental was described accurately, was clean and inviting, and the office staff made sure everything was perfect for our visit. This was a great cabin for three adults. The location was perfect for neighborhood walks, enjoying the stream (even from the porch when raining), and close to dining and shopping.I absolutely can not say enough wonderful things about Lauren (and I soooo hope I have her name correct). Every time we spoke she brightened my day. Lauren went above and beyond to help meet my needs on very short notice and the cabin was exactly right for my visit. Toward the end of the stay, I called to add a night and it was handled easily over the phone. From my initial contact with Lauren at HVR right through check-out...was superb!

We loved Callies Cabin on the Creek and plan a repeat visit someday. Property is located within minutes of all the neat little restaurants in town as well as grocery stores for the times you would rather meal prep at home. Kitchen well-stocked and entire cabin immaculate. Beds extremely comfy, which was needed after the amount of time spent hiking & sight-seeing (which was also very close by). Many places came recommended by the HVR Team/homeowner and they were spot on. If a little R & R is what your looking for, this is your place as it is situated in such a peaceful setting.The HVR Team was great to work with from time of booking up until check-out. They were extremely accessible & very professional throughout the entire stay.

The property was a great getaway for my wife, son, and I to meet with my parents to celebrate my Fathers 65th birthday. The house is a great hidden gem right outside of Highlands. with the current Covid restrictions and having a couple of high risk family members, this gave us some peace of mind while still being able to enjoys some vacation time. I would highly suggest this house (Callie's Cabin) to anyone and everyone looking for a great and quaint mountains retreat. This house is pet friendly as well so that's a plus too!

Fun Time In The Snow Great cabin in a great location. The lights were on as well as the heat even though we checked in late. Easy check in and out. Nieghbors at the other cabins were very friendly. Kids enjoyed sleding down the step road beside the property with snow on it.

This trip was a last minute plan and we were very grateful to have been able to reserve Callies Cabin for 8 nights. Picking up the key at Management Company was easy and very close to the Cabin. The Cabin was found very organized and clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to make a nice meal. The overall set up and space was great. The rooms had plenty of storage space and the beds were comfortable. The wrap around porch has a beautiful view to the creek and is awesome to sit and drink some hot coffee in the mornings. Callies Cabin is just minutes away from shops, restaurants, and entertainment. I was a bit disappointed on how many shops and restaurants were closed this week, but given it was New Years its understandable. This small town is very quiet and peaceful and so close to so many fun things to do like tubbing, ZIP lining, ice skating, water falls and mountain hikes. If you travel with pets we found two dog parks you can take them to. We would definitely be back to visit.
