With attention paid to every detail, come relax in luxurious style when you rent this brand new, professionally decorated apartment located on Main Street in downtown Highlands NC. From the welcoming living area and the well appointed kitchen to the three large bedrooms, each furnished with a plush King size bed, and upscale baths, your stay in this apartment will be the perfect getaway. With its convenient location, you will enjoy walking to all of the world-class dining and shopping Highlands has to offer. For the nature lover, a short stroll will take you to the Highlands Biological Station and Nature Center or to Sunset Rock for a hike that culminates in a gorgeous view over the picturesque mountain town.
Main Bedroom off of Kitchen with King bed and ensuite bathroom with European style step-in shower & bath.
Guest bedroom on the main level with ensuite bath and step-in shower. Has small private balcony.
This bedroom is an upstairs loft bedroom. It has a full bathroom with shower-tub combo and the room is semi open to below via the stairs. This sleeping area has a king bed as well as a queen Murphy bed.

Whether you are here for a long weekend or prefer to spend a month or two, this home away from home is sure to please even the most discerning guest.

*This is a pet-friendly (DOGS ONLY) property. Pets must be approved and a pet fee is required.*

The best in Highlands! For the last 15 summers, my girlfriend and I have vacationed in Highlands. This year, this property was finally open the dates we were planning on being in Highlands. We have checked it out through its listing on Vrbo, where we were impressed with the photos. When we arrived, it did not disappoint. Everything is very modern and clean. All 3 bedrooms have King size beds, and private bathrooms. I am not a firm bed lover, but the beds are firm, yet as soon as I laid down, my body slowly sunk into the bed a couple inches. I haven't had that kind of sleep in a while. The bathrooms were extremely clean and inviting. There were the typical shower lotions provided and presented in custom boxes. And plenty of towels and wash cloths in each bathroom. The living room welcomed us with a gas fireplace, and plenty of relaxing options to sit and enjoy tv. (Like anyone really goes to Highlands to watch tv). The living room, along with the 2 lower bedrooms, had 16 foot ceilings. The kitchen was very well appointed, with a Sub-Zero fridge and 2 drawer freezers, and a Wolf stove/oven. It is supplied with everything you need to stay for an extended visit. The laundry room was also well supplied. It is larger than our home's, and more cabinets than any family needs. It also has a very nice wine cabinet in the laundry room.And this home away from home allows pets! With no lingering smells.Lastly, it is on Main St., a short walk to great restaurants.

This property met our expectations and then some. It was well appointed with so many nice touches such as luxurious spa robes, extra blankets and pillows, a French press, and so much more. The location was perfect for walking the whole town. There were six people in our party and everyone had plenty of space to spread out. The bathrooms were spectacular. This was a beautifully designed, clean and altogether enjoyable property. It is located in the middle of town and central to everything. The internet service went down while we were there (due to a truck hitting a pole) and after we expressed how critical it was for us to have internet access, the rental company went to the additional trouble of bringing us a Starlink for our use. Such amazing customer service - truly above and beyond and we very much appreciate it! We will absolutely be back (and we are so grateful that they allowed our two well behaved, mature dogs)! Thank you!

We absolutely love this property!! We were there for our son’s Old Edwards wedding, so it was very convenient. We originally planned our rehearsal dinner at Wolfgang Nextdoor… then they sold it. Beautiful and spacious home in the perfect location on Main Street for dining and shopping. We could step right out the front door and walk to dinner! The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are so comfortable with tempurpedic mattresses. Theres a big fireplace in the living room which is so nice to cozy up to. The bathrooms have heated floors. We will definitely stay here again!Great communication and easy instructions with good information. We never needed to reach out to anyone for anything.

I cant say enough great things about 488 Main. The location is beyond PERFECT! Directly next door to Wolfgang Puck restaurant and across the street from Old Edwards Inn. We walked everywhere we needed to go in town. The only time we needed to drive was to hiking locations. The rental is very clean and decor is spot on! Perfect a girls trip weekend! We will be back and you wont be sorry you rented this apartment. Thank you Lauren for your help!Lauren was a delight to work with! Sue’s place was wonderful. Only 7 minute from the Main Street in Highlands, it was a great place to be location wise. The small apartment was cozy and comfortable as well as being very clean. Check in was very easy, and Sue was accessible for questions. Overall a great stay!
